Rainbow Six Siege: Operation Velvet Shell is the next big content drop to hit Ubisoft's successful squad shooter.
So far, the publisher has given us a glimpse of the new Coastline map and one of the two new operators, Jackal. Today's teaser shows off the second of the new Velvet Shell characters, Mira.
As with the Jackal teaser, the video only gives us a little taste of what Mira will bring to Rainbow Six Siege. It looks like she can create small windows in otherwise impregnable walls, opening up new angles of attack - or possibly even entrances? That should provide some interesting tactical opportunities, for sure. I like her already, don't you?
Rainbow Six Siege is free this weekend as Ubisoft celebrates the Six Invitational, the shooter's major eSports tournament. Operation Velvet Shell will be more fully revealed during the event.
Rainbow Six Siege is available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, and Operation Velvet Shell is the kick off of its second season of content. In addition to paid content drops, Ubisoft regularly shores the game up with patches and tweaks.
