Weekly events come to Heroes of the Storm with all new Heroes Brawl mode
New Heroes of the Storm mode brings over some of the fun of weekly Hearthstone events.
Heroes of the Storm is getting a new game mode called Heroes Brawl, which has some similarities to Tavern Brawl in Hearthstone.
A more light-hearted take on an already pretty glib MOBA, Heroes Brawl is a set of weekly events played on standard maps with mutators, brand-new arenas and single-lane battlegrounds, all designed specifically for the new mode. The three new arenas are called Punisher, Sky Temple and Garden, but Blizzard hasn't yet explained what the new mutators are for those Heroes Brawl evens played on standard maps.
Just to mix things up even more, hero selection rules will vary from week to week, so you won't be able to rely on your Heroes of the Storm mains all the time.
If you participate in three Heroes Brawl events in a single week you'll score "unique rewards and large sums of gold" for use elsewhere in Heroes of the Storm, which sounds pretty good. Check out the trailer below and log into Heroes of the Storm from October 17 to check it out.
