Dying Light: The Following has a couple Harry Potter Easter eggs
A neat Easter egg Techland added to Dying Light: The Following has been found and it is sure to make Harry Potter fans smile.
It's his bed under the stairs in a closet, or cupboard if you will. Not a huge reference, but a nice nod to the series. You'll also notice a wizard's hat sitting on the bed.
In the room, there is also an enchanted skull on the shelf which starts spinning. When the player steps out of the room, a ghost knight appears.
The specter looks similar to the Ghost Knight in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets who attended Sir Nicholas's 500th Deathday party at Hogwarts. He doesn't seem to have an arrow sticking out of his head like his film counterpart, though.
Easter eggs are nothing new to Dying Light, really. The core game includes the Destiny Loot Cave, South Park's Underpant Gnomes a playable level from Super Mario Brothers and many more.
Dying Lightt: The Following - Enhanced Edition was released on February 9 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
