It's a very good time to try out Civilization: Beyond Earth.
Sid Meier’s Civilization: Beyond Earth is free-to-play on Steam this weekend, which is pretty tasty.
The trial comes at a pretty excellent time, as 2K and Firaxis have whacked a release date on upcoming expansion, Rising Tide. It drops on October 9 and brings with it a number of new features, lovingly detailed in the video below.
