Nosgoth open beta hits 1M downloads, Summoner now available

Along with the release of the Summoner in the Nosgoth beta, comes word the tester has been downloaded over one million times.

The milestone was met within a week of the open beta's launch.

"We’re grateful for the continued support from the players, some of whom have been with the game since the very beginning of closed Alpha over a year ago,” said Phil Rogers, CEO of Square Enix in the West.

“We’ll continue to add new content and features to the game and with the help of the community we’ll keep improving what Nosgoth has to offer.”

The new Summoner of Clan Melchahim is part of the Vampire class and sports a "supernatural projectile-absorbing shields" and and perform large and long range barrage attacks.

It also has the ability to summon and command ghouls. More information on the Summoner can be found on the official website.

Nosgoth's open beta went live on January 22.
