Pirate RPG Raven's Cry has been delayed again, now releasing in January

Raven’s Cry has been delayed once again by TopWare Interactive, but not by much considering previous release delays for the pirate game.

The last delay we were aware of occurred in October, when it was announced the game had been delayed to November 27, after being set for an October 14 release.

Originally, the game was slated for release on October 24, 2013 before it was delayed into May 2014 after development was handed over from Octane Games to Reality Pump.

Now the PC and Mac game will arrive on January 28, 2015. It is also in the works for Linux and SteamOS.

"We had hoped our dark pirate epic would be ready in time for the Holidays, so those of you who buy it could put it under the Christmas tree," reads the official blurb. "But we’re not willing to rush things make any compromises with this project, so we decided to give this complex RPG adventure a little bit more time to make sure all the blades are nice and sharp, so to speak.

"We owe it to our fans, who have been waiting a long time for a such an exciting pirate experience."

The PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions are still slated to arrive sometime during Q1 2015.

Thanks, Blue.
