Luis Suarez, the Uruguayan international with the infamous biting incident from this year’s World Cup, was suspended for offence, and the suspension is carrying through to FIFA 15 as well.
EA being the official partner and sole licensee of the FIFA video game brand, would naturally give it no choice but to follow FIFA’s decision to ban the striker.
Eurogamer reports that if you search for Suarez in the game’s transfer market in FIFA 15 Ultimate Team, it will bounce back with no results.
If you choose Barcelona, which Suarez currently plays for, you’ll be getting an email from the CEO of the team reminding you of his suspension and that he’ll be available for squad selection again in October 26.
Despite that, Suarez is still available as part of Barcelona’s squad in the game’s exhibition mode.
