MLB 14: The Show’s new trailer shows off quick play and manage modes

MLB 14: the Show has a game mode for you, regardless of your preference for rapid fire action or investment in a long career mode.

The video below shows off Manage Mode, which has you guiding a club from the top. If you don’t have the patience to sit through every match, try Sportscast Mode, which speeds things up as you make the decisions mid-game.

You could also switch on PlayerLock, which has you playing as just one athlete – so you don’t have to sit through the whole match. Quick Counts has a similar effect, but works by dropping you in part way through a pitch count.

MLB 14: the Show is out now on PS3 and Vita, with the PS4 version coming on May 6. It supports cross-save and cross-play between all three versions.
