Deadman's Cross: Square announces zombie card battle RPG for mobile

Deadman Cross is the new zombie card-battler RPG from Square Enix. It's coming to iOS and Android this winter.

In a press release sent to VG247 today, Square confirmed that the game is set in a world teeming with Deadmen, a horde of zombies that has ravaged the planet. You must hunt the undead using your rifle and add defeated zombies to your deck.

The free-to-play game will use the same card hunting mechanic from Square's other mobile card game Guardian Cross, although this time the game uses a 3D perspective, rather than a top-down view.

It's coming this Winter along with microtransactions for iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and Android devices, and the debut trailer for will be shown at Tokyo Game Show.
