Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney localisation teased

Level-5 boss Akihiro Hino has hinted that Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney may make its way west.
Hino was asked about the possibility of a western release for the crossover title at Japan Expo in Paris.
"Something is in the works," he said, as translated by Vooks from a Nintendo Town report.
"But I can’t talk about it today. Please be patient."
The 3DS exclusive arrived in Japan last November. Everyone's been talking about a possible localisation, but Capcom hasn't committed. The Ace Attorney series is a cult-favourite but does not sell hugely, unfortunately.
