Swords & Soldiers 3D trailer shows off a neat little porting job

Swords & Soldiers 3D, a 3DS port of Romino’s excellent side-scrolling strategy title, is looking pretty good.

The port was developed by Circle Entertainment, which approached Romino directly requesting to take on the job. It still hasn’t been dated, but is expected on the 3DS eShop soon. It seems to have transitioned well to the 3DS’s smaller screen.

Swords & Soldiers pits three factions against each other. It debuted on WiiWare and is also available on iDevice, PC and the PlayStation Network. Indie developer Romino Games is also responsible for Awesomenauts, and is making a name for itself with these unusual side-scrolling takes on established genres.

Thanks, Siliconera.
