Climax Studios working on two unannounced games

Some sort of creepy doll fest and a suspiciously Persian-looking platformer are on the way from British developer Climax Studios.

The studio added screenshots for both new titles to its website, but gave few details. Both are listed for 2013 release and are described as an "unannounced title" and "character action platformer".

I should probably point out that the character action screens which have people so excited are labelled "tech demo", which may mean they're not represnetative of an actual game at all - or if they are, the character model may be a placeholder. All that said, it sure does look a lot like recent Prince of Persia games, doesn't it?

Climax Studios is the sole developer left under the Climax Group banner since Disney acquired and later closed Black Rock; don't mix it up with jobbing Japanese studio Climax Entertainment. According to its own blurb, Climax develops games for browser, iOS, PC, PlayStation 3, Vita and Xbox 360. It's known to be developing for the PlayStation 4 as well.

Last time Climax updated its Wiki page, it said it was working on unannounced titles for Sony and Microsoft, but in the interim, it has released two Sony exclusives - EyePet & Friends and Smart As - and one Xbox live Arcade exclusive - Bloodforge. Its most notable releases of the last years are probably Silent Hill: Origins and Shattered Memories; it has also produced a number of ports.

Thanks, Gematsu.
