FFVII's Tifa to return in Dissidia 012[duodecim] Final Fantasy

The game with the most indecipherable name in the world will host the return of a character from one of the most famous games in the world. Swings, roundabouts and all that.

Final Fantasy VII's Tifa will make an appearance in RPG-fighter sequel Dissidia 012[duodecim] Final Fantasy, Square said today, releasing some screens as proof.

Tifa Lockhart, to give her her full name, is a member of FFVII terrorist group AVALANCHE and owner of the 7th Heaven bar. She's childhood friend of Cloud.

This isn't the first time she's been brought out of retirement. The character's appeared in Ehrgeiz and other Square games, and was included in the CGI film sequel to Final Fantasy VII, Advent Children.

Dissidia 012[duodecim] Final Fantasy releases next year for PSP.
