TERA patch fixes political system, adds blood slider in Europe
Blue Hole Studios has patched the North American and European versions of TERA. Both patches contain a fix to the MMO’s political system, allowing guild leaders who are level 50 to run for office, with election results posted on May 23. Blood being patched into TERA next week
The European publisher of TERA has told Eurogamer a patch will be implemented next week adding a blood detail slider to the MMO, but the blood splatter will be less pronounced than in the US version. The patch will also add the Emblems feature, which was cut before launch due to uploaded Emblems storing on a player’s hard drive. When coming across another player in the game, it would automatically store the other players Emblem obn the drive as well. Frogster considered this a “high threat in terms of security, in case someone wanted to upload a virus,” but not the system has been re-implemented and Emblems will now be stored in the client memory instead.

TERA race video series shines spotlight on the High Elves
En Masse and Blue Hole Studios has released the fourth installment in its TERA’s race video series, and this time the focus is on the High Elves. Apparently, the race has a motto: “We believe. We remember.” Sounds slightly sinister, doesn’t it? Maybe it’s just us. The video shows a bevy of in-game footage, along with a few slow-mo battle moves so you can get a better idea of the prowess of the race. It’s also rather pretty. TERA goes live on May 1 and head start information can be found through here. The final closed beta weekend begins today.
