Mark Hamill has said that after playing The Joker in the Batman animated series from 1992-2004, he never expected to play the insane villain again – until he was asked to do Arkham Asylum.

Mark “Skywalker” Hamill and Kevin Conroy will lend their voices to Batman: Arkham Asylum, Eidos announced today.

Conroy, obviously, is the man himself. Hamill’s the Joker.

PC, PS3 and 360 next summer.

According to this Kotaku rumour, Mark Hamill will voice the Joker in the upcoming Batman: Arkham Asylum game.

The Eidos title ships next year. Hamill’s participation is expected to be announced next week.
