Hero Academy available on Steam today
The recently-delayed Hero Academy is now available for purchase on Steam. The cutesy strategy game — ported onto Steam from iOS — missed its initial August 8 release date due to “an unexpected issue,” but appears to have gotten itself settled. It’ll run you $4.99.

Xbox 360 Tropico 4 delayed, arriving October 18
Hanging out for Tropico 4 on Xbox 360? Keep a-hangin’, publisher Kalypso Media has confirmed to Joystiq that the game planned for “mid-September” will now be arriving in mid-October.
Specifically, the game should start hitting shelves from October 18th, even though the PC version’s out already. We hear that “although it isn’t radically different in terms of visuals from its predecessor, it’s a better and more focused experience,” in case you were wondering.

Shadows of the Damned suffers slight delay
And when we say “slight,” we mean it. Suda 51′s latest descent into unspeakable (and unspeakably bizarre) madness has taken a two week tumble. Now dated for June 21, the game was originally set to hit shelves on June 7. PS3 Child of Eden pushed to September
Know what’s tons of fun? Huh? Well, yes, Child of Eden probably fits that description. But we’re talking about something abstract and ineffable. All right, yes, Child of Eden could also be described using those words. We, however, are looking for the term patience. And hey, PS3 owners, aren’t you lucky? You get both to have both – whether you want to or not. IGN‘s reporting that Child of Eden’s PS3 version won’t be dropping until September. Sorry, folks.
