Funcom delays Conan Chop Chop until 2020

Funcom is delaying the release of upcoming action-adventure roguelike Conan Chop Chop until the first quarter of 2020.

The announcement was made today in a joint press release with developer Mighty Kingdom, stating that both companies had decided “to increase their investment in the project to deliver a bigger and better game.”

Mighty Kingdom is now working to implement online multiplayer in the game.

Conan Chop Chop, which started out as an April Fool's joke by publisher Funcom, was originally planned to launch September 3 on consoles and PC. The game supports up to four-player local co-op, and tasks you with taking out the evil wizard Thoth-Amon.

Conan Chop Chop will release on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
