Multiplayer is free this weekend on Xbox Live, for Xbox One and Xbox 360

Enjoy the benefits of Xbox Live Gold without paying anything, for a limited time this weekend.

Microsoft has announced that it's making multiplayer free to all Xbox One, and Xbox 360 owners for the weekend. Online multiplayer, available only to Gold subscribers, will be open to Silver users as well.

What's more, the company is making Minecraft: Xbox One Edition available to download and play for free, throughout the duration of the event.

The Multiplayer All-Access free weekend has already gone live, and will remain available until Sunday, May 21.

This promotion is available worldwide.
