Pokemon Go update improves GPS tracking and makes some fixes, but no new features or content this time

Pokemon Go has been updated, but it's pretty boring.

Pokemon Go has been updated on all platforms, bringing it to version 0.53.1 on Android and 1.23.1 on iOS.

The update is, unfortunately, not very exciting - no new Pokemon Go features or event content. The biggest change is an improvement to GPS tracking, which now accounts for drift.

Oh, and there's a handy fix for those of you using your Apple Watch to play Pokemon Go, which must be someone, right?

Here's are the latest, pretty boring Pokemon Go patch notes:

  • Updated Apple Watch to display Eggs obtained from PokéStops
  • Changed distance tracking to better account for GPS drift
  • Minor text fixes.
