The Division: here's what those different damage colors represent

Wondering what the different damage colors during combat in The Division represent? Arekkz clears up any confusion for you.

In The Division, there are a few colors you'll need to pay attention to when you are fighting for your life: blue, white, red and orange.

When the player engages and enemy, they will notice a white bar. This is the armor, and when the enemy is shot, blue negative numbers will appear denoting armor damage taken.

Once their armor is destroyed, white numbers will appear and represent body shots taken. When you land a headshot, a red number will appear confirming a bullet has been taken to the head.

Orange numbers represent a critical headshot or body shot and as you can see in the video, critical shots can be made even when enemy armor is at full capacity.

Arekkz also goes over how you can spec your weapons to increase the chance of critical shots.

The Division will be released on March 8 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

While you wait on the game's release, head over to LFG site The100.io and make some friends. You will need as many as you can get in The Division.
