Destiny: Bungie says it intends to fix Sparrow Racing League exploit

Destiny players have found an exploit pertaining to the Sparrow Racing League Record Book, and Bungie intends to fix it quickly.

According to a post on reddit, the exploit allows players to earn rewards from the Record Book without paying the 1,000 Silver to purchase it.

"People are simply walking up to Tess, inspecting the book, and completing the challenges/obtaining the loot without purchasing the book," said T1Giggle in the post.

Proof of the exploit is shown in a video linked in the reddit thread.

In a tweet earlier today, Bungie stated it was "investigating a bug with the SRL Record Book, with the intention of fixing it."

Silver is a micro-transaction currency, and 1,000 Silver runs $9.99, so it's no wonder Bungie is looking to fix it quick sticks.

We expect a emergency patch to roll out at some point within the next day.

Destiny: The Taken King  players on PS4 have access to a timed-exclusive Sparrow Racing quest, which rewards a unique Sparrow.

The Sparrow Racing League event will end on December 29.
