Star Wars: Battlefront does not support in-game voice chat on PC

Star Wars: Battlefront will not contain voice chat on PC, according to DICE.

quiet you

This will either upset you or won't. Either way, it's not supported on the PC version. For console users, Battlefront will utilize the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One built-in party system for in-game chat.

The reason behind the lack of party-chat on PC wasn't made clear, but according to the official SWB Twitter account, players will instead have to use a third-party software to communicate vocally.

So Skype, TeamSpeak, Ventrilo, or whatever you and your buddies prefer.

The Star Wars: Battlefront beta ended today, October 13 at 11am ET and launches on November 17 in North America and November 19 in Europe.
