Until Dawn turned out to be quite the darling, pleasing critics and enthralling YouTube. As you'd expect, Supermassive is now thinking about whether a sequel should follow.

"We do talk internally about what Until Dawn 2 could be, as it clearly can’t be a sequel in the traditional sense," executive producer Pete Samuels told PlayStation Lifestyle, referring to the possibility of some or all characters being dead, depending on your choices throughout.

"We’ve investigated other ways we could do Until Dawn 2 but it probably is a little early to be discussing that," he added.

The full context suggests Supermassive may move on to other projects, and already has one on the boil.

Elsewhere in the interview Samuels reiterated that Until Dawn had surprised Sony with its popularity, noting that sales had "surpassed expectations".

I really liked Until Dawn and recommend giving it a go if you like narrative games at all. I suggest going in clean for your first playthrough but if you insist here's a guide to keeping everyone alive.
