PS4 gets a price cut in the US and Canada

Sony has officially reduced the price of PlayStation 4 in the US and Canada.

Sony has announced that starting tomorrow, October 9, PlayStation 4 will cost $349.99 in the United States and CAD $429.99 in Canada. This is down from $399.99 and CAD $449.99 respectively.

The new price comes just over three weeks after the recently announced Japanese price cut. Sony has yet to announce a similar move for Europe or the UK.

A number of bundles have also had their prices reduced. Find the new prices below:

  • Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection bundle - $350/ CAD $430
  • Limited Edition Call of Duty Black Ops 3 1TB bundle - $430/ CAD $500
  • Limited Edition Disney Infinity 3.0: Star Wars Bundle - $400/ CAD $470
  • Limited Edition Star Wars Battlefront bundle - $400/ CAD $470
  • Star Wars Battlefront Bundle - $350/ CAD $430
  • NHL 16 bundle (Canada only) - CAD $430

Comparatively, Xbox One has been officially priced $350 in the US for quite a while.
