You'll need to free up 25GB to download Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain on PS4

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain has popped up on the Japanese PlayStation Store, giving you advance notice of how much space you need to clear off your hard drive.

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain is listed as a 25.1 GB download on PS4.

As spotted by DualShockers, the PlayStation 3 version is significantly less hefty at 11.7 GB.

These figures may vary slightly in the US and Europe due to additional localisation files. No word yet on PC or Xbox platforms, unfortunately.

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain launches on PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on September 1. The PC version follows on September 15. If you're excited, you may want to admire this new promotional poster, courtesy of Hideo Kojima on Twitter.
