Lords of the Fallen devs tease unannounced action-RPG set in "dystopian sci-fi future"

Deck13 and Focus Home Interactive are teasing the unannounced action-RPG the Lord of the Fallen developer has in the works.

The game is set in a "dystopian sci-fi future" and will feature "innovative combat mechanics" and an original character progression system based on "modular upgrades gained through tight, visceral combat."

The unannounced IP will be revealed at a later date, and the game is expected to launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC with a retail and digital release in 2017.

It was revealed in May that Focus Home Interactive would be publishing the new IP from Deck13, which isn't working on the next entry in the Lords of the Fallen franchise. The earlier report culled from a press release suggested the game would be announced at E3 2015, which takes place next week.

“Focus will present the new project from Deck 13, best German studio 2014. Its last game, Lords of the Fallen, has sold nearly a million copies on consoles and PC since October 2014," according to the French press release.

Focus is also bringing Vampyr, Dontnod’s new RPG to E3, so hopefully we will hear more on the new IP during the show.

Since the teaser image is so dark, I've brightened it up a bit and posted it below.
