Assassin's Creed Syndicate will not have a companion app

Assassin's Creed Syndicate will not have a companion app, a Ubisoft spokesperson has confirmed after earlier reports surfaced.

This should please many fans of the series, as it will be one less thing to deal with. Unless of course you liked the companion app. In that case, I am sorry for your loss.

"There will not be a companion app," the representative told Eurogamer. "For Assassin's Creed Syndicate, the team wanted to focus all their efforts on the core experience."

It was announced earlier this month that Syndicate also lacks multiplayer.

Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate will be released on October 23 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One with PC to follow.
