You can now sign up for the Rainbow Six Siege closed Alpha

Ubisoft has announced it is taking applications for a Rainbow Six Siege closed Alpha, where it will be testing the multiplayer portion of the shooter.

In order to be considered, you will need a Uplay account, so be sure to create one if you haven't already before signing up.

The test will be for PC-only and limited to North America and Europe and will be multiplayer only. This testing period will be multiplayer-only.

A start time of the testing period will be announced closer to the date, and to make sure your system is prepared, you will need to have the following inside your rig:

  • OS: Windows 7, 8, 8.1, x64
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K or AMD FX-8120 Eight-Core
  • CPU Speed: 3.3 GHz (Recommended), 2.6 GHz (Minimum)
  • RAM: 8 GB
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 670 or AMD Radeon HD 7970 / R9 280 X
  • VRAM: 2 GB

The game is slated for release during Ubisoft's 2016 fiscal year.
