Elite: Deadly trademark pops up on EU OHIM registration site

A trademark application for Elite: Deadly has been filed by Maguire Boss, a UK-based firm specializing in patent and trade marks.

Along with Frontier Developments, id Software is also a client of the firm.

While a trademark owner isn't listed, it's safe to say Frontier Developments is the trademark holder, but what Elite: Deadly could be is anyone's guess at this point.

We're betting its an expansion pack, unless Frontier has console version of Elite: Dangerous up its sleeve.

Filed on February 17, the trademark, which was spotted by NeoGAF, covers articles nine, 28 and 41 which spans computer games programs and software to online interactive games.
