More details revealed on the Warcraft movie at Blizzcon 2014 panel

Duncan Jones, director of the upcoming Warcraft film, visual effects supervisor Bill Westenhofer and Vice President of Blizzard Chris Metzen revealed a plethora of new details about the movie at Blizzcon on Friday.

The film will serve as an origin story of the Warcraft universe and will portray the Orcs and Humans equally, with neither side being definitively good or evil.

As it stands, the current confirmed cast of the movie right now consists of the following:
Alliance:
  • Travis Fimmel as Anduin Lothar
  • Ben Foster as Medivh
  • Dominic Cooper as King Llane
  • Ben Schnetzer as Khadgar
  • Ruth Negga as Lady Taria
  • Paula Patton as Garona
Horde: 
  • Toby Kebbel as Durotan
  • Daniel Wu as Gul’dan
  • Rob Kazinsky as Orgrim
  • Clancy Brown as Blackhand
Warcraft is scheduled to be released in theaters in March 2016.
