Go on safari again with Evolve's second alpha test

Evolve will offer a second chance to get in ahead of the rest of the pack with another closed alpha test.

Evolve's second round of closed alpha testing was announced at PAX Prime this weekend, and those who gave the 4v1 asymmetrical shooter a try at the show have priority in securing a place in the test.

Otherwise, 2K Games and Turtle Rock will be distributing keys via social media, their forums and other channels, so keep an eye out on Twitter, Facebook and various other Internet locations where publisher and developer are known to lurk.

The Big Alpha, as Destructoid reports it's being called, has not yet been dated, unfortunately. We can guess at December or early January, though, as there's an Xbox One exclusive Evolve beta coming in January.

Evolve's release date was pushed back to February 2015 from an expected October launch. It's headed to PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
