Square Enix will have over 180 hands-on stations at gamescom 2014

Square Enix wants everyone to have a chance to play the titles it will be bring to gamescom 2014, so it plans to set up over 180 stations.

The line-up of titles for hands-on play will include Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris, Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX, Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call, Nosgoth and mobile RPGs Dragon Quest 4: Chapters of the Chosen, Dragon Quest 8: Journey of the Cursed King and more.

Multiple booths will be set up in Hall 9, and 48 players will be able to compete against FF14's gigantic bosses Leviathan, Ramuh and Gilgamesh.

The booth will also host a special head-to-head battle on Saturday afternoon between FF14 producer and director Naoki Yoshida and Ichiro Hazama, producer of Curtain Call in new Versus Mode. Both Single and Versus Mode is playable on the booth.

The video below gives a recap of each player’s total fight record, and the proceedings of the previous matchup which took place at E3 this year.

Over at the FF14 booth MMO players can also try out the frontline PvP mode where three teams of eight will go against each other featuring live commentary of the session by ESL casters Mori and A1m. The winners have the chance to take away "valuable gaming hardware."

Fans can visit Square Enix Products in hall 10 at booth D10 to check out a plethora of official merchandise, and in Hall 10, the official Cosplay village will feature a FF14 background for you to pose against.
