The Evil Within has a new video available showing new gameplay.

In the video, the viewer is given a first look at one of the game’s villains, Boxman.

When detective Sebastien Castellanos and his partners investigate a mass murder, Castellanos’ fellow law enforcement officers are slaughtered by a mysterious force.

He is ambushed and knocked unconscious and when he wakes up, he sees that all imaginary hell and veil has broke loose.

The Evil Within is in development for PC, PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. It will be available in North America on August 26, Australia August 28, and throughout Europe on August 29.

If you are heading to PAX East 2014 this weekend, stop by the Bethesda booth and try the game out.

Looked half good for a PS4 release, but still not sure if this is coming for the “old gen” or both…

Oh Mikami, why that Debussy, why? Apart from that, pretty good trailer and promising game, I’ll take it for sure. This gen started quite well for what concerns survival horrors, I hope I’ll get the chance to play something at least near the level of Team Silent works.
