Scourge: Outbreak is a third-person shooter which originally saw the light of day as an Xbox Live exclusive in July 2013, but has now made the jump to Mac and PC.

The squad-based shooter is available now on Steam for $8, but is 10% off during launch week. It’s also available in a dicounted four pack, to help you get a crew together, and in a bundle with both DLC packs to date.

The game boasts three eight-player PvP modes, five maps and a six hour co-op campaign for four players, with each player seeing different narrative elements. A cross-platform affair, Scourge: Outbreak allows Mac and PC users to play together.

A demo is available if you want to take a look, including support for up to four players.

Hahaha I wasn’t aware this was an Xbox Live game when I saw it pop up on the Steam storefront today.

I thought to myself “Wow this looks like a mobile ios game port”.
