BAFTA reactions: The Last of Us, Gone Home, Papers Please devs chat with Sam

BAFTA winners Naughty Dog, The Fullbright Company, Lucas Hope and more reacted with delight, surprise and even terror to meeting Sam at the ceremony. I mean, to winning a coveted mask.

Naughty Dog really cleaned up, taking five awards. The core team are overwhelmed by the support both of fans and their colleagues, and Joel voice actor Troy Baker is delighted to have participated in the project.

Lucas Pope described the "wash of terror" he felt having secured yet another award for his amazing border control sim and mentioned his anxiety regarding meeting expectations following the huge success of Papers, Please.

Filmmaker Josef Fares is no stranger to red carpets, but Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons - his collaboration with Starbreeze - is the first video game he's been honoured for. Fares describes the award as "a dream come true" and "crazy". "I will make more games," the self-confessed "huge gamer" said.

The Fullbright Company won best debut for Gone Home, and the American team said winning a BAFTA 'classes them up about 200%'. Adorable. As for why did people vote for them? The focus on ordinary people rather than guns and explosions, maybe.

FIFA 14 won the sports award. Despite the franchise's massive worldwide success, EA Sports' Dan Holman seemed absolutely chuffed by the honour.

Before the awards kicked off, Sam spoke with award hopefuls and celebrities on the red carpet.
