Xbox One Twitch streaming displays at higher resolution than PS4, claims feed test

Xbox One's Twitch streaming app is said to display broadcasts at 720p and 30FPS, which is said to be higher than the same service currently offered on PlayStation 4.

Reddit user rotj came to the deduction after using Twitch Analyzer to assess Major Nelson's Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare stream.

They add that by comparison; PS4 streams that 960x540 at 30FPS, while the Nelson results came back at 1280x720. Sony currently does not offer users the chance to archive their Twitch streams, while Xbox One does. Microsoft's app also lets users block out party chat audio while streaming, and view chat and viewer statistics without them showing up on your broadcast.

You'll find the full stream statistics here.

Twitch streaming will hit Xbox One on March 11, just in time for Titanfall's launch. Will you be using it?
