Joe Danger Vita coming Q2 2014 courtesy of Four Door Lemon

Joe Danger and Joe Danger 2 will make the jump to Vita in the first half of next year, courtesy of a collaboration between creator Hello Games and fellow indie Four Door Lemon.

The two companies revealed the partnership along with a second quarter release window for the Vita ports of Joe Danger and Joe Danger 2: The Movie, which were announced but not detailed in August.

Four Door Lemon is a Yorkshire team that has previously worked on New Star Soccer and the HD remake of Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee for PlayStation 3. Hello Games founder Sean Murray said the team is one of the "very few people" Hello Games would trust with its "baby".

Hello Games has quite a lot on its plate at the moment so it's understandable it would be keen to get a friend on board to shoulder some of the porting duties; as well as working on recently announced PC and Mac ports, it has an ambitious new project, No Man's Sky, in the works.
