Battlefield 4 China Rising fixes incoming for PC, Xbox 360

Battlefield 4's China Rising DLC is not without its problems, but DICE is aware of a couple of issues and is working on them.

In a statement issued to CVG, EA admitted to "an occasional hiccup, issue, glitch, or problem that could interrupt or prohibit your gameplay".

In the case of players erroneously prompted to download the DLC again after installation - an issue affecting all platforms - the publisher suggested ensuring the latest patch is installed.

Unfortunately, no such workaround is available for PC players experiencing regular kicks during gameplay after installing China Rising.

"DICE have identified the issue and is implementing a solution to the problem. This fix will take some time to be fully completed, but players should be noticing normal gameplay behavior soon," EA said.

Things sound even more grim for Xbox 360 players unable to join matches.

"We're investigating this issue and will provide updates as quickly as possible," EA said.
