Saturday, 2nd November 2013 17:50 GMT By Phil Owen

Ahead of Call of Duty: Ghosts’ launch on Tuesday, a new live-action ad for the game about a foursome of dudes having and “Epic Night Out” in which they play Call of Duty on the couch while imagining they are playing IRL Call of Duty and hitting on the lady soldier they see now that that’s a thing in CoD multiplayer.

Video games, yeah?

My favourite part was when there was a driving sequence. It’s like this is the add for Battlefield. :D

Call of Duty ads this year are really top notch, they clearly have embraced the fact that’s it’s cultural event aimed at everyone, not just gamers.

I’m noticing the lack of the usual Xbox logo at the end.

    Interesting…

@6 That’s what everyone says with every COD Release. Yet you’re always proven wrong.

They’re losing it. BlOps had better ads and trailers.

The Replacer and Mapathy were both epic, epic campaigns. The new ones aren’t really close in my opinion.

You have to question how much money Activision are burning making them, but those two were hilarious.

Peter Stormare is like the Michael Kenneth Williams of Swedish actors.

#9 dudes, 90% of the cod sales are eithr casual kids or just plain retards who needs their Dose of cod madness

like really i know many people who buy the game
play it for a couple of weeks and then don’t touch it for months

it’s all hype, just like GTA
i’ve seen GTA 5 logos in every gamestore, why? because it’s a commoners game

real gamers won’t buy CoD, and niether battlefield 4 since it requires origin and it has premium

i may be wrong about sales, cause they put more money in advertising the game then actually putting ON the game

Basically anyone who thinks guys think girls can’t be real gamers just need to read this thread; guys also think COD, FIFA, Madden, et. al. fans can’t be real gamers either.

    @19 http://www.livescience.com/18588-shoot-gun-space.html

Yes. It’s a lot harder to shoot one underwater. Or shoot it effectively, rather.

@19 modern firearms don’t need air to fire. Both the primer and propellant contains materials that can ignite even without oxygen like thermite.
