GfK Chart-Track has revealed that 5.17 million games were sold at UK retail in September, a 45% increase year-over-year. The growth can be attributed to the release of Grand Theft Auto 5 which accounted for 52% of games sold last month – the game has sold over 2.6 million copies in the UK since its release on September 17. Retail stores reported £187.2 million in revenue for September, and for the first nine months of 2013, UK stores gained more revenue from software than in the first nine months the year prior. It seems it doesn’t matter how mediocre a game is, as long as there are billboards of it everywhere, it will sell.

Oh, sorry, the way you mispelled “FUCKING AWESOME” as “mediocre” made me confused.
