Sonic will be making a return in Super Smash Bros. as you know already. You found out during Nintendo’s latest Nintendo Direct this morning. However, we now have some screenshots for you to gaze upon below showing the blue wonder doling out damage. We’ve also re-posted the trailer. Super Smash Bros. is scheduled to launch for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS in 2014.

This game is looking really good. Was playing Brawl the other day and I forgot how much fun this game can be with friends.

Can’t wait to see the final product :)

    >implying I watch Nintendo Direct

The Mega Man reveal was a lot bigger of a deal, and I’d say the same if this were Sonic’s first appearance in Smash Bros. Sonic’s been in games with Mario already, so it’s not really a big shocker like it would’ve been 20 years ago.

hell so if you go to a strip club in GTA V does it mean you watch A.I porn?

Some how this line of conversation isn’t exactly in harmony with Nintendo’s image.

Let’s go back to talking about Smash Bros :)

@7 – Definitely not as big as Mega Man’s reveal. Sonic was actually in the last Smash Bros.

If they could score cross-play between 3DS and Wii U, that would be cool.
