Grand Theft Auto 5 PSN delay disappoints East Coast players

GTA 5 has launched on the East Coast of the US, a few hours before the West Coast - but a short delay on the PlayStation Network version left those who pre-ordered a digital copy suyffering mass Internet rage

The PSN version of Grand Theft Auto 5 was still listed as unavailable on the North American PlayStation Store at 12:30 ET, despite releasing in stores at midnight.

The delay was just over half an hour from retail launch, but East Coast purchasers had feared they'd have to wait until West Coast launch at midnight PT - about three hours.

The situation has now been rectified, but you can enjoy the near-apoplectic fury in comment threads, on social media, and littering YouTube which turned up before it unlocked.
