Microsoft buys 'Xbone.com' domain, Major Nelson deems it disrespectful

Microsoft has bought the web domain 'Xbone.com', after the popular nickname for Xbox One was been deemed disrespectful by Major Nelson.

Fusible reports that the domain's WHOIS records show that Microsoft has indeed acquired the Xbone.com domain.

Last week, Larry "Major Nelson" Hyrb took to NeoGAF to discuss the moniker, and added, "I don't like it...it disrespects the teams that have put in thousands of hours (already) into the development of the product. Sure, it's cheeky but I don't care for it myself."
