No the Blood radio is bad bad bad.
For metal heads that’s terrible terrible news.
Blood radio had some gems in SR3.
The lack of Metal radio makes me reconsider to buy the game.

It’s so hard to listen to your own music while playing a game right?

    Oh, you’re on PS3.

  7. Lengendaryboss

Well at least the soundtrack is still top-tier, sadly the same can’t be said about the game.

    EW, tacky.

Can we go back to Saints Row 2? we don’t need this Saints Row 3.5 and its shallow, empty city.

Not that great of a soundtrack.

I’m waiting to see what the GTA V soundtrack is like. My big hope is something similar to LCHC returns. Loved that station.

Is it bad that I recognize very few names outside of the Klassic & Mix stations?

First of all, I like to play with the music the devs choose because I think they put time to pick time and set the mood of their game with the music, so, imho, listening to other music while playing a game is a disservice to the devs and to myself, since I don’t enjoy the game 100% as it’s supposed to be.

But, oh, you’re on 360…you’re half a gamer to pick such a console.

Second…LOL at your ignorance, SRIV will have a customizable radio station.
You might say, what’s to complain then…the fact that they skipped an audience completely.
PLUS, it’s a good thing that people gets to know new bands through gamings.

I hear people going on about Saints row 2 so much I picked it up and honestly. Apart from the choice of mini-games which I felt more varied and were better in SR2, L felt the rest of the game underwhelming, and just not as good as SR3, so generally enjoyed SR3 more.

Hopefully SR4 will have a larger and more varied choice of those mini games.

Nostalgia and rose-coloured glasses FTW. I’ve been playing SR2 for the last week or so (had it for 3+ years, only got through half of it when it first came out) and I agree the SR2 mini-games/side missions were generally better and Stillwater is leagues better than Steelport, overall SRTT is much more fun. I also really despise being forced to do side missions to fill my respect bar so I can do a story mission. Ugh.

@5 I agree, I did so enjoy racing through traffic while listening to After The Burial etc.

I hope this is a mistake.

SR3′s soundtrack was rather bad other than Power and a couple of songs I could barely remember.

Looking at this list, I see that Rap has received preferential treatment once again what with Rocky and Lamar being included.

Sleeping Dogs is where it’s at though. You can’t go wrong with Kasabian and Strange Talk.

Underdogs is the only good song on the entire soundtrack, besides the classical music. And I am a male 27 yr old metal head. Go figure. But seriously, if you’re complaining about the music then why the fuck did you buy an Xbox/PS3? When will video game consoles become obsolete? When will people realize that video game consoles are merely watered down computers, that actually do a lot less than computers? PC’s have always been and will always be the most powerful gaming platform period. Consoles are made out of the exact same components PC’s are. Same processor chips, same video graphics cards, same RAM, same hard disk drives, everything. Except you can only do a fraction of the things you could do with an actual computer. And you can get all your games for free from the plratebay anyway.
