Call of Duty: Ghosts pre-orders include “Free Fall” dynamic map

Monday, 1st July 2013 19:15 GMT By Debabrata Nath

Pre-orders for Call of duty: Ghosts will net you a free multiplayer map, Activision has announced.

The multiplayer map called Free Fall bonus map will be included with all pre-orders for the game made before its November 5th launch. The map will feature the “new dynamic map event mechanic.”

According to the official description, “Free Fall ushers in the first details on how players will encounter the changing environments in the leading multiplayer experience on consoles.”

Mark Rubin, executive producer at Infinity Ward, explained how the map will change the way players approach the game.

“As the match progresses, the geometry of the world continues to change and players need to adjust on the fly or else. It’s a really fun new feature that adds layers of strategy and constantly evolving gameplay options for players. ”

Call of Duty: Ghosts releases on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC on November 5. It’ll also release on Xbox One and PS4 later this year.

Thanks, AGB.

okay, I have to say it. Fuck you CoD.

“Pre-orders for Call of duty: Ghosts will net you a free multiplayer map, Activision has announced.”

I remember when content came bundled with the 60$ actual game. Not sold separately… BO2 is fun, but it has like what 5 DLCs now?? Nope fuck that. It’s just sad. I’m finally gonna pass on a CoD with Ghosts…

@5 I’d rather have exclusive access to multiplayer to the game I bought full price, than to have to shell out 120$s to experience the full game…

    BWWUHAHAHAHAHA.

I’m sorry. Did you say DYING franchise?

I’m just going to leave this here…

EVERY title in the series has sold more than the one before it, and that record still stands. Dying? Like it or not, this franchise is a behemoth, and it’s still growing.

@3 The game comes complete, don’t be silly. It always comes with plenty of maps, enough that if you don’t buy the DLC you’re still going to be ok. And unlike Halo 3 (the last I bothered with) not buying the DLC doesn’t mean you’ll be stuck in one game mode for the rest of time, you can still play any mode just like you always did.

Also, it’s 3 major DLC drops which is what they advertised with the Season Pass, besides the micro ones. If you don’t want them, don’t buy them. You can still play as always without the DLC.

Anyone calling COD a dying franchise: That says more about your math skills than it does about COD.
