Xbox One on show at PAX Australia

You won't need a media pass to check out Microsoft's new console if you're in Melbourne next month.

A press release confirms the Xbox One will be on show during PAX Australia, which runs July 19 through 21 at the Melbourne Showgrounds.

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like the console will be playable on the showfloor, but it will be demonstrated in three presentations in the Main theatre at the following times:

  • Friday July 19 6:00pm – 7:00pm
  • Saturday July 20 2:30pm – 3:30pm
  • Sunday July 21 12:30pm – 1:30pm

The hall has a seating limit and attendance will be first come, first served, so you probably want to start queueing early.

I sincerely hope this isn't the thing that convinces you to attend Pax Australia because tickets have been sold out for months.
