Arma 3 alpha gets first major update

Monday, 25th March 2013 22:29 GMT By Brenna Hillier

Bohemia pinged us to point out that the Arma 3 alpha has been updated. There are plenty of changes to take in but the key items include improved network performance, reducing vehicle lag; an end to some peculiar crashes; and that you can no longer throw grenades under water. Okay, maybe that last one is interesting mainly to me. Full patch notes are available on Steam.

“TRG iron-sights remodeled after feedback” is only relevant change in whole patch :D That retard-square was fricking awful sight, who thought it was good idea?

Its all good, slowly slowly aiming at gaming perfection. Personally miss the Afghanistan setting though.

This is awesome, but I want more content and more missions.

Yes, I want decent missions, where if you die you haven’t got to run 40KM to get back to the action.

I hope they get the vehicles and their on board systems right this time.

“Fish should be less inclined to travel on land” is a superb patch note.

It looks very good. I see you can have enemies in your team perhaps? that shows an enemy dude who is on your team, I think? Confusing.
