Borderlands 2 character DLC teased at SXSW
Deep beneath Pandora, and experiment has escaped, and this new Vault Hunter will be your new playable character in Borderlands 2.
The DLC was teased during SXSW this weekend via footage captured off-screen by Polygon.
From the footage, it appears the DLC character hinted at back in February is melee-based one going by the attacks it performs in the video.
I took a screencap, and played with it a bit, yet it still reveals next to nothing.
No word just yet on when it will drop, but it shouldn’t be too far out if it’s already being teased.
Meanwhile, Gearbox has told Joystiq the upcoming DLC character isn’t part of the Borderlands 2 Season Pass.

Wait, it’s NOT part of the seasonal pass?! Guess that pass didn’t make them enough money -_-

@3 they are having multiple seasons. If you intend to get the DLCs it is still a better deal to get the season pass $30 vs $40 so far- for Gaige and the 3 story DLCs at $10 a pop

Borderlands should have a wider melee combat, the “CoD knife” isn’t appealing, even on Zero.
