Modern Warfare 4 beta scam doing the rounds
Just a reminder that anybody asking for your personal details to sign up for a Call of Duty beta is probably trying to steal your details and make your life miserable. Fusible has word of a new scam using the ModernWarfare4beta.com domain name. Some minor sleuthing quickly exposes the site’s owners, who have nothing at all to do with Infinity Ward or Activision. Similar scams turned up for Black Ops 2 last year, as well as for Halo 4, thanks to the enormous non-core audiences big name shooters command. Be wary.

Obviously is a fake, they don’t need to test it because is the same game again and again.

#2 right? Even for the updated multiplayer i STILL don’t understand how they keep selling CoD’s year in and year out. The campaigns are absolutely useless. It is almost literally the same story every time. Terrorist bad guy, wants to blow up America and/or the world, you play a handful of different military men and stop him. The end. Dead a little more inside.
Used to i could almost justify people buying them for the multiplayer but even that is the same in every game now. Yeah Black Ops was a bit different and fun for awhile but…. damn. It’s like EA and all the sports games every year. I am surprised game shops haven’t started treating CoD like they do with used sports games.

@3 Moral of this story is, we’re not the target audience any more for a lot of these games. That’s why a franchise like CoD and Fifa gets pumped out regular as clockwork. There are millions who don’t look at sites like this who will buy every iteration.

Nah I think that’s very much Treyarch’s baby. As you say though, we shall see.
