Planetside 2 ban hits player with $230 spend

Planetside 2's watchdogs aren't afraid to ban those who've paid to enjoy extras in the free-to-play shooter MMO.
On Twitter, Sony Online Entertainment boss John Smedley said the team today banned "a whole bunch of idiots".
"Including two guys with 300 hours of playtime. One guy who spent $230," he said.
"Bunch of aimbots crashing like crazy now," he added.
Smedley has repeatedly stated his commitment to clearing Planetside of cheaters and hackers, and that he values free players as much as paid ones.
